Officials investigating structure fire in Inuvik

Sept. 17, 2020, Inuvik, N.W.T. – Raven Street in Inuvik, N.W.T., was partially closed due to a small structural fire on Wednesday, the town said. The Inuvik Fire Department responded Wednesday morning just before 10 a.m. A notice on the town’s website on Wednesday said it was an electrical fire, but fire Chief Cynthia Hammond said that actually, the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
