Overnight fire razes car wash

Aug. 29, 2016, Montreal - A car wash in Montreal North was destroyed by fire overnight Monday.

No was injured in the blaze, which started around 12:30 a.m. on Pascal-Gagnon St. near Marie-Victorin CEGEP. The damage to the building was so extensive, firefighters ordered that the structure be demolished once the flames were put out. 

Firefighters were unable to shed light on the cause of the fire, so the case has been forwarded to the Montreal police arson squad. They will visit the site Monday to begin their investigation.
