Part of Whitehorse motel destroyed in blaze

June 13, 2017, Whitehorse, Yukon - Whitehorse deputy fire chief Chris Green says part of the Mountain Ridge Motel and RV Park, and a recreational vehicle at the site, have been destroyed by a fire. Green said around six guests plus cats and dogs were moved to safety by firefighters after they arrived at the motel on the Alaska Highway about 7:45 a.m. on Monday.
