Sept. 13, 2011, Winnipeg – Made you look.
That's what Winnipeggers will likely do when a pink fire truck rushes down the streets for an emergency.
The unusual truck, dubbed "Pinky" by firefighters, was unveiled Monday at fire station Number 20 in Winnpeg.
The eye-catching colour is to draw attention to the Pink T-shirt Campaign, which sells the shirts and gives proceeds to the Cancer Care Manitoba Breast Cancer Centre of Hope.
The Manitoba capital isn't the only place to have a fuchsia fire truck – the Village of Winnipegosis has two.
