KNIGHTVILLE, N.B. – Police say the fire that killed four people near Sussex, N.B., on Monday morning was accidental.

Autopsy results have show they all died of smoke inhalation.

The dead include Douglas Harold Dunn, 55, and his parents John Armstrong Dunn, 90, and Dora Ruth Dunn, 88.

Six-year-old John Douglas McFarlane also died in the home along with his grandfather and great-grandparents.

RCMP Sgt. Don Allen says the fire is believed to have started in the kitchen but the exact cause has not yet been determined.
