Presumptive legislation announced

Members of the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs worked with Labour Minister Peter Fonseca (centre) to have presumptive legislation extended to volunteer and part-time firefighters and fire inspectors. Fonseca announced Thursday that a new regulation, effective immediately, will cover the province's more than 19,000 volunteers, part-timers and inspectors.
