| March 24, 2011 - The Redwood Meadows Fire Department in Alberta under
chief Ed Bowen, took delivery in March from Wholesale Fire & Rescue
of a Pierce Manufacturing-built tanker. Built on a Peterbilt chassis and
powered by an Allison 3000 EVS transmission and a Paccar 8 380-hp
engine the truck is equipped with a Hale 840 IGPM pump, a 2,500 IG
co-poly water tank, two portable tank racks and On-Spot chains. |
