Firefighters with Redwood Meadows Emergency Services in Alberta take time out of training to pose for a picture in front of their new pumper/tanker. The 2011 Peterbilt/Pierce Contender pumps 840 imperial gallons per minute and carries 2500 imperial gallons of water. The truck , which replaces a 1984 Ford pumper/tanker, carries two 2,500-gallon drop tanks so the truck can quickly leave its load of water on scene and return to a water source for more.
