Regina house fire leaves one person dead

Feb. 2, 2017, Regina - Police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a home that was the scene of a fire.

The fire broke out around 3 a.m. at 2990 7th Ave., near Robinson Street.

The identity of the woman has not yet been determined.

The City of Regina said other people inside the home were able to escape.

One person was taken to hospital for treatment.

The city says the main floor of the building was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived.
