Residential fire leaves one person dead

Firefighters were called to a house (in the Greenwood and Gerrard area) just after 8 p.m. Monday.

One person was pulled from the blaze and pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim hasn’t been released.

Crews are still working on the blaze.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
