Residents rescued from apartment blaze

June 12, 2012, Ottawa - Firefighters rescued a number of occupants of a low-rise apartment building — including a man who walked with two canes and whose apartment was full of smoke — after a blaze broke out in one of the building’s units. The Ottawa Citizen reports.
