Salt Spring Island Fire Department

Feb. 4, 2010 - The Salt Spring Island Fire Department in B.C. took delivery in January of a Midwest Fire-built tanker-pumper. Built on a Freightliner M2-106 chassis and powered by an Allison 3000 EVS transmission and a Cummins ISC 330-hp engine the truck is equipped with a Hale MBP 1000 pump, 3,000 IG folding water tank and LED warning lights.
