Saskatoon needs two new fire halls, not four: fire chief
Oct. 28, 2014, Saskatoon - Saskatoon's fire chief says the city needs two new fire halls instead of four. Five years ago, city planners anticipated needing four new stations. However, fire chief Dan Paulsen said if the locations of two planned halls — one in the south and one in the city's northwest — are moved slightly, firefighters will only need two new halls over the next 10 years. CBC News reports.
