Scott Health & Safety introduces BioPak 240
Jan. 4, 2008 - Scott Health & Safety (a business unit of Tyco International), has announced the introduction the BioPak 240 Revolution four-hour closed circuit breathing apparatus (CCBA) for use in environments needing long-duration respiratory protection in immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH) environments.

CCBAs, which are often referred to as rebreathers, are ideal for use in situations in which there is potential for lengthy IDLH exposure, such as decontamination, urban search and rescue, rail-car accidents, tunnel extrication or collapse, structure collapse or any environments requiring fully encapsulated level A suit applications.
The BioPak 240 Revolution CCBA features a quick-change cooling system that be replaced while being worn without breaking the breathing loop and a patented CO2 scrubbing system design using solid absorbents that enable rapid deployment.
