Scott Health & Safety is now Scott Safety

March 16, 2011, Monroe, N.C.  - Scott Health & Safety unveiled its new global brand identity on Monday and will immediately begin operating under the name Scott Safety.

The new brand reflects the company’s unified and strategic corporate direction combining innovation, stability, heritage and resourcefulness with experience to deliver safety protection equipment and solutions. The brand is built on three promises that define Scott Safety’s corporate philosophy:  innovating with purpose, providing solutions that are smart and putting the customer first—always.

"Defining a single brand is an important step for Scott Safety,” said Mike Ryan, Scott Safety vice president and general manager.  “This new brand enables an alignment that draws on broad and diverse global expertise and resources to deliver meaningful, innovative and quality solutions to our customers locally and globally. The Scott Safety brand builds on our rich heritage and our passion for personal protection, developed over decades of working with our customers around the world on safety improvements.”

Founded in 1932, Scott Safety has expanded to provide safety solutions in new markets and industries. Today Scott Safety has operations in multiple countries and customers located in more than 50 countries.

The new brand is supported by a launch campaign that includes a new logo and website. The redesigned logo symbolizes the company’s evolution and growth in the safety industry. The new website, , is designed to better serve Scott Safety’s local and global customers and embraces the organization’s new identity.
