This November, join the hundreds of thousands of Canadians who will grow and groom moustaches to raise money for and awareness of men's health.

On average, life expectancy for men is about five years less than for
women. Two in five men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime –
and that number is significantly higher for firefighters.

How it works: First, register as an individual or with a team at
movember.com, particularly under the Great Canadian Fire Challenge (fair
warning: some mo bros and mo teams have gotten a head start – the
Edmonton Fire Department has already raised more than $2,700. . . what
are you waiting for?).

Then, on Nov. 1, start with a clean-shaven face. For what to do next, click here. Send us a weekly photo
of you and your mo bros sporting the best 'stache you've got (email Olivia at odorazio@annexweb.com). We'll put
them online.

And don't forget to fundraise; the money is allocated to programs that
support prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives.

Get involved: There are national and international prizes and
rewards
for the best moustache, as well as a draw for the chance to win a
2014 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob motorcycle. There are also awesome parties and events where you can show off your mo.

So what are you waiting for? Register now and, on Nov. 1, start growing!
