The Great Canadian Fire Challenge was a staggering success this year, raising a total of $376,645 for programs dedicated to men's health.

Firefighters across Canada grew moustaches to raise funds for and bring awareness to various men's cancers and to men's mental health issues; both affect the fire service in greater numbers than the rest of the population.

While more than 200 fire departments participated in this year's challenge only one can be crowned winner and walk away with the Great Canadian Fire Challenge Movember Moustache Trophy.

	Edmonton Firefighters Motivation: As firefighters, we have a much greater chance of developing work-related cancers, and PTSD and/or mental health issues! We need to build an awareness from within! 	Port Coquitlam Fire Department Motivation: To change the face of men's health. Members: 76 Raised: $12,742 Donate here.
	Mississauga Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local 1212 Motivation: To change the face of men's health. Every man should maintain a health lifestyle, a good diet and take action early when they experience a health issue. Fire the good fight. Awareness and education. 	Comox Fire Rescue Motivation: To change the face of men's health. Members: 24 Raised: $11,529 Donate here.
	Vaughan Professional Fire Fighters Association Motivation: Vaughan Fire has had its fair share of bad luck health-wise in 2013. Here is to a much healthier 2014!! Members: 48 Raised: $9,958 Donate here.
