Shubenacadie & District Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services in Nova Scotia, under Fire Chief Wayne Greene, took delivery in April of a Fort Garry Fire Trucks-built pumper tanker. Built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis and powered by a 350-hp Cummins ISL engine and an Allison Auto 3000 EVS transmission, the unit is equipped with a 1,000-gpm Hale MBP pump, a 1,500-gallon tank, a Foam Pro 2002 system, Federal Signal Q siren, FRC Spectra scene lights, and Onspot tire chains.
