Jan. 12, 2011 – The SmartDock hands-free SCBA holder from IMMI is now available directly to all fire apparatus manufacturers and in the aftermarket through various channels of distribution.

SmartDock offers single-motion SCBA insertion and hands-free release when the firefighter rises out of the seat. In the event of a collision, inertial forces cause the top jaws to lock around the SCBA, retaining the cylinder and preventing it from becoming a projectile.
