St. Catharines firefighters rescue three hikers in less than a week

June 8, 2020, St. Catharines, Ont. – After rescuing hikers at Morningstar Mill for the third time in a week, firefighters are urging the dozens of people using the facility — ignoring COVID-19 social distancing requirements in the process — to at least stay on the paths. Firefighters and paramedics responded to the heritage site at Decew Falls on Sunday afternoon, after a woman was injured while trying to climb up the wall of the gorge.
