St. Catharines stands firm on 24-hour shift
May 10, 2013, St. Catharines, Ont. - If St. Catharines firefighters succeed in their quest for a 24-hour work shift, it won’t be coming any time soon. The City of St. Catharines is not being swayed by a recent arbitrator’s decision in Ajax that over-ruled that town’s objections and gave the firefighters there what they wanted.
