Steinbach fire calls down slightly in 2019

Jan. 8, 2020, Steinbach, Man. – Steinbach’s Fire Chief says it is surprising how many incidents his crews responded to in 2019. In crunching the numbers, Kel Toews says there were 297 calls for service in 2019. That is only three fewer than in 2018, yet, for the last half of last year Steinbach’s coverage area shrunk with the opening of the new fire hall in Blumenort. Steinbach Online reports. | READ MORE
