Strathcona County (Alta.) fire fighters’ strategic plan

May 2007- Alberta – In late February, Fire Chief Dwight Osbaldeston announced management’s approved five-year strategic plan.  The focal point of the plan is the hiring of 51 suppression staff between 2008 and 2012.  The plan would increase manning in the current stations and add a fourth station. Minimum manning once the new station is fully staffed (2011) would be 28 full-time fire fighters in the county.
