TCH charged over fatal apartment fire

Feb. 24, 2016, Toronto - Toronto Community Housing has been charged with violating the provincial fire code in a Scarborough apartment-building fire that left three seniors dead earlier this month. The Star has confirmed that a provincial offence has been laid against the social housing provider for placing combustible materials in an exit route, according to a source with knowledge of the charge.
