Technology enables firefighters to illuminate surroundings

Oct. 14, 2010 - The Foxfire line of products from MN8 Products enables firefighters to find tools and be visibly located in zero light environments while providing illumination to the surrounding area. Utilizing a photoluminescent pigment with a specialized epoxy paint product, the illuminating coating (paint) kits and helmet bands allow equipment or tools painted with the Firefox technology to illuminate surroundings for up to 17 hours when fully charged.
