The Portal Fire Department

The Portal Fire Department in Saskatchewan, under chief Mike Gillies, took delivery in February of a Fort Garry Fire Trucks-built pumper. Built on an International 440 chassis and powered by an Allison 3500 EVS transmission and a Maxxforce DT 300-hp engine, the truck is equipped with a Hale MBP 1000 840-IGPM, a 1,000-IG co-poly water tank and a Hale Logix 2.1 Class A foam system.
