Toronto chief says city needs more stations
Nov. 29, 2011 - Toronto Fire Chief Bill Stewart speaks to CityTV about response times, standards, and what he calls a very "efficient and effective Toronto Fire Services that responds to the needs of the City of Toronto."
Stewart says several factors contribute to response times, including the need for new stations, and explains why a consultant's report on response times, obtained through Freedom of Information by the Toronto Star, was not made public sooner. CityTV reports.
