Townhouse fire spreads to adjacent homes

Jan. 5, 2008, Toronto - Dozens of people have been evacuated from their homes as a massive fire burns through a townhouse complex in west Toronto.

Fire crews are on the scene battling the flames but officials say the blaze is burning out of control.
The fire broke out just after 9 a.m. in one of the townhouse units in the Dupont-Dundas neighbourhood.
The flames soon jumped to adjacent homes.No major injuries have been reported but three people have been taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
