Trailblazer and honourary chief Lincoln Alexander dies
Oct. 19, 2012, Hamilton, Ont. – Lincoln Alexander, the honourary chief of both Toronto Fire Services and Hamilton Emergency Services, died Friday at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 90. CBC News reports.

Oct. 19, 2012, Hamilton, Ont. – In addition to his many other accomplishments and accolades, the Honourable Lincoln M. Alexander, PC, CC, O Ont, KSTJ, QC, was Honourary Chief of both Toronto Fire Services and Hamilton Emergency Services, Honourary Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police and Honourary President of The Warriors' Day Parade Council.
