Transport rams fire truck at accident scene

July 24, 2012, Cobourg, Ont. – Firefighters say a fire truck positioned to shield workers at an accident scene on Highway 401 possibly saved numerous lives early Tuesday morning, after a fully loaded transport truck slammed into the side of the parked Port Hope fire truck, which had its emergency lights activated. Northumberland Today reports.
