TRU-Vu Monitors launches new water-resistant touchscreen

April 11, 2023, Arlington Heights, I.L.L. – TRU-Vu Monitors, a supplier of industrial-grade LCD monitors and touchscreens, has released a 17-inch sunlight readable water-resistant touchscreen display. The new display is designed to operate in direct, bright sunlight, or in other high ambient light conditions.

The SRMHTRWP-17C Resistive Touchscreen features 1,500 nits of brightness, and a stainless-steel enclosure for withstanding shock, vibration and rugged environments.

These touchscreens feature an automatic ambient light sensor, with 9-36VDC operation in a panel-mount NEMA 4X waterproof enclosure and UV front glass. The extended operating temperatures range from -30 to 85 C.

The high bright touch displays could be used for industrial manufacturing, military and law enforce-ment vehicles, aviation, kiosks and outdoor inspection applications where view-ability in direct bright sunlight is crucial.
