Const. Pierre Bourdages says the rig overturned just after 4:30 a.m. while turning from Highway 118 onto Akerley Boulevard.
The boulevard is one of the entry points into the Burnside industrial park.
Bourdages says police have closed all exits on and off the highway at the site.
He says paramedics were checking the condition of the driver, but he was unable to give details on whether any materials from the truck had spilled.
