Turn your smart phone into a pager with eDispatches

Jan. 19, 2012 – Fire, EMS and other emergency-service personnel can use the eDispatches mobile apps on their iPhone and Android smart phones, allowing the smart phones to operate similar to a voice pager with stored voice. The eDispatches system has sent audio dispatches via text and phone calls since 2004, and now, members of departments that deploy the eDispatches system can download the eDispastches app for free. When a call is dispatched, the speaker on the phone opens up with an alert tone followed by the actual audio dispatch. Didn’t catch the address? Use the replay and hear it again. Recipients are also able to control their personalized settings from the app itself. The eDispatches system is totally automated and does not require your dispatch to be involved at all.
