Weekend forest fires speak to continued threat

Sept. 20, 2011, Kamloops, B.C. - With temperatures heating up this week and a pair of fires vying for firefighters’ attention on the weekend, it would be a mistake to think fire season has passed, an official with the forest service said Sunday. The Kamloops Daily News reports.
