Nov. 24, 2009 - West Kelowna Fire & Rescue in B.C. under chief Wayne Schnitzler took delivery in June of a Green Acres Emergency Vehicles-built wildland interface truck. Built on a GMC 5500 Crewca 4x4 chassis, this wildland interface truck is powered by a Duramax Dieesel 300-hp engine and Allison 1000 transmission and is equipped with a FoamPro 1600 foam system, 300 IG polyethylene water tank and Honda EU3000 generator.
