Sept. 7, 2010 - The Whitbourne Volunteer Fire Department in Newfoundland took delivery in December 2009 from Fitzpatrick's of a Metalfab Fire Apparatus-built pumper. Built on a Freightliner chassis and powered by an Allison 3000 EVS transmission and a Cummins 300-hp engine the pumper is equipped with a Waterous CS 1050 IGPM pump, Waterous Aquis 2.5 foam system, 800 IG polypropylene water tank, Honda 5kW generator, 30 IG foam tank, Whelen strobe light bars, rear flood lights, perimeter scene lights and ground lighting.
