June 20, 2013, Campbellton, N.B. – Police have arrested a 34-year-old woman after a suspicious fire at an apartment building in Campbellton, N.B., last week left 21 people homeless.

The RCMP say they arrested Sherry Mousseau on Tuesday and she appeared in court on an unspecified charge related to the fire.

The RCMP say Mousseau has been remanded until her next court appearance on Monday.

The fire happened in a 10-unit building on Shannon Street in Campbellton on June 13.

Police say the building was extensively damaged.

A joint investigation by the Mounties and the fire marshal listed the cause of the fire as arson.
