One person airlifted to hospital after car crash
Oct. 11, 2011, New Glasgow, N.S. - One person has been airlifted to Halifax in critical condition after a severe accident involving three vehicles at an intersection in New Glasgow, N.S.

The accident occurred today just before 5 p.m. at the corner of MacGregor Avenue and Westville Road.
Police say the accident involved a truck and a car and a van.
The van went into the ditch and one person had to be freed by firefighters using the Jaws of Life.
