Sept. 24, 2013, Georgian Bay Township, Ont. – Police say one person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 400 just north of Port Severn in central Ontario.

Const. David Hobson of Ontario Provincial Police says the crash involved a car, a truck and a tractor trailer in the northbound lanes of Highway 400 (at Muskoka Road 5) in Georgian Bay Township.

He says the collisions happened at about 8 a.m. Tuesday in a dense fog that came off the bay and the female driver of the car had to be extricated by firefighters.

She was treated at the scene by paramedics and then transported to Georgian Bay General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The northbound lanes were closed for the investigation but are now fully open.

No other injuries were reported.
