St. John’s townhouse fire displaces nine people

Oct. 11, 2022, St. John’s – Nine people have been displaced by a Thanksgiving weekend fire in the capital city. The fire broke out in a townhouse complex on Lester Street at about 3:00 on Saturday afternoon. The originating unit was extensively damaged while the two adjacent ones incurred some damage as well.
