Town officials say all homes have electricity after a mobile generator was brought in and Newfoundland Power will be on site all weekend in case something happens with the temporary system.
The power went out Thursday during a snowstorm and as a result the town also ended up without water because its system depends on electricity.
Mayor Mike Patey says he decided to lift the state of emergency today.
Patey says Newfoundland Power crews continue to work to get the town back on the main grid.
