Three people injured in Toronto highway crash

Jan. 3, 2014, Toronto – Three people were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Toronto's Gardiner Expressway on Friday morning.

Paramedics say two people had minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

The third person was briefly trapped and has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The collision happened on the westbound Gardiner at the southbound Don Valley Parkway around 5:30 a.m.

It's not yet known what caused the crash.

The westbound lanes of the Gardiner were closed approaching Jarvis Street for the investigation.
