Brayden Osborn of the Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department will share department success stories that have come from its initiatives alongside techniques for your building your toolbox for mental health.
Brayden Osborn is a Lieutenant with the Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Having been with the department for 5 years this August, Brayden has been committed to his ongoing development within the fire service. He has completed a myriad of courses with a strong focus on mental health. A few years back a course on “Resiliency on the Front Lines” kickstarted his passion regarding mental health in the fire service and led to the development of “The Dashwood Mental Resilience Booklet”. Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration, owning and operating a small consulting business, and working in the construction industry, Brayden has a unique skillset and experience.
