July 13, 2011, British Columbia – British Columbia is sending 120 more personnel to Ontario to battle wildfires.
The provincial government says the firefighters will leave for Thunder Bay and Dryden today and will stay in the province for up to 19 days.
The deployment means British Columbia now has 227 personnel on the ground in Ontario.
The provincial government says those personnel can be recalled if any serious wildfires occur in British Columbia.
