Couple homeless after fire destroys bungalow

No one was injured in the blaze early Thursday.

The Harcourt Fire Department responded to the call at about 3:15 a.m.

A dozen firefighters brought the blaze under control, but not before it had almost completely destroyed the home on Route 116.

The blaze left almost nothing in its wake except for an aluminum chimney, a wooden doorstep, charred segments of walls, the concrete foundation, and piles of ashes.

The cause is being investigated.
