April 9, 2010 - The District of Tumbler Ridge Fire Department in B.C. under chief Matt Treit took delivery in March of a Hub Fire Engines & Equipment-built rescue unit. Built on a GMC C5500 4x4 chassis and powered by an Allison 2350 EVS transmission and a Duramaxx 330-hp engine, the rescue unit is equipped with a CET 18-hp side-mount pump, 250 IG co-poly tank, Warn portable winch, Smart Power 6kW hydraulic generator, Amdor roll-up doors and a four-way receiver system.
