Doctor, 79, dies after re entering burning home in Windsor, Ont.

Dec 10, 2007 - Windsor, Ont - A 79-year-old doctor has been identified as the victim of a fatal house fire early today in Windsor, Ont.

The fire broke out just after midnight.

Fire prevention officer Lee Tome says Brown and his wife had left the burning home, but Brown went back inside to retrieve something.

He never made it back out and firefighters found his body on the second floor.

Brown's wife was not injured.

The Ontario Fire Marshal's office has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire. (CHYR,CKLW)
