Early morning fire destroys camper at Barrie encampment

April 5, 2024, Barrie, Ont. – No injuries are being reported following an early morning encampment fire in Barrie. Barrie Fire and Emergency Services got a call around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 4 of a fire in the area of Victoria and Anne Street, not far from Dyments Pond Park, confirmed deputy fire chief Carrie Clark.
