Edmonton chief helps push for change in Australia

Nov. 28, 2011, Edmonton - Edmonton fire Chief Ken Block and Winnipeg firefighters union president Alex Forrest are being credited for pushing Australian senators to unanimously pass federal legislation last week that will support and compensate firefighters who contract cancer because of their occupation. The Edmonton Journal reports.
