Family loses livestock in barn fire

Sept. 5, 2017, Low, Que. - A west Quebec family says they're worried about toxins and wild predators after a barn fire left their yard littered with dead livestock. The fire broke out early Monday morning outside Tom Townsend and Julie Kent's on Chemin McDonald, a winding tree-lined rural road near Low, Que., about 45 minutes north of Ottawa.
